Nokia N97 or iPhone 3GS ?

Which phone should I buy ? I own a three-years old mobile phone. It fits my needs for calling and holding my agenda.

It's fine for receiving e-mails too, even if it's a bit clumsy to send some. But its screen is too small for browsing the web. And loading a web page is too long.

After reading a few comparisons of cell phones, it seems that the Nokia N97 and the Apple iPhone 3GS are the two best choices.

To sum it up, the Nokia has the best hardware : higher resolution screen, a keyboard, better pictures and movies, the battery lasts longer, FM receiver included…

On the other hand, the iPhone has the best software : more intuitive to use and downloadable applications for all uses.

Some people think that the best choice is none of those phones, and that the Nokia E72 should be considered.

Winter in Paris

Thursday at seven o'clock in the morning, a few snowflakes fell. Two hours later, everything was white.

Covered by snow, Paris looks magical. It seems to be another city. Everyday sounds are also different.

But pedestrians walk, cars and buses pollute, and the snow turns gray. The magic vanishes.

All that remains are wet shoes and dangerous slippings on the sidewalks.

Good news, bad news

First good news : one more hour for sleeping tonight.

First bad news : it will soon be dark at five o'clock in the afternoon.

Second bad news : it will soon be very cold.

Second good news : that's a good excuse to prepare hot chocolate for Sunday afternoons !
